This asymmetrical jacket from the Fall 2012 Elie Saab show is lovely!
The Glitz…
The Fall 2012 Elie Saab show brought the glitz and glam to the runway with gowns in shades of gray, green, and gold, each belted at the waist! Blunt cut bangs, super-straight tresses, beading, and sheer sleeves were highlights of a Paris Fashion Week that saw simplistic elegance, refined feminism, and unique backdrops!
A Locomotive Concierge….
Each model glided down the runway in company of their personal bag handler…evoking a time when traveling by train was for the elite crowd and their equally wealthy friends! The uniforms worn by the handlers were pristine, pressed, and in the deepest shed of navy blue. And of course….there were white gloves!!! This look in the Fall 2012 Louis Vuitton collection, like all others, was accessorized with a matching hat. This navy blue/black palette was splendid. The length of the skirt is one we haven’t seen thus far, making the collection that much more intriguing. I think the greatest component of this look is the brooches along the satin pockets and hem of the skirt and the satin!!!
Leaving on the Midnight Train….
The setting of the Fall 2012 Louis Vuitton show this morning in Paris included a REAL train, with each model have her own window view. Times of the past when even traveling eluded grace and refinement…ALL ABOARD!
Who Said Florals Are Just For Spring?

Whimsical…A Little Something for Everyone!
More from the Fall 2012 Valentino show-Paris Fashion Week…..the white dress is heavenly!
Magical Elegance at Valentino….
The Fall 2012 Valentino show was beautifully crafted with looks of ladylike, clean lines and gorgeous details. The red look on the left is perfect for a formal event, and paired with the studded wristlet, the dress is sure to be a show-stopper for events to come. The slit is daring, yet modest, and the red leather underlay is awesome. The middle look is intricately detailed with a combination of beading and crochet. The sheer overlay allows the imagination of its’ wearer to break free. The final look on the right is a beaded three-piece design that can function from 9-5 and 5-9„„ it’s formal enough to be work to an after-hours gallery opening, or it can appropriately suffice for a day of meetings, errands, and capturing onlookers’ attention.

Velvet chain-strap purses and clear-heeled T-straps were the accessories of choice at the Fall 2012 Chanel show!!!
Sensationnel Chanel!!!
Karl Lagerfeld decided to transform the Grand Palais into a “City of Crystals” and a “Glittering Rock Utopia” for the Fall 2012 Chanel show!!! The alternating heights of the crystals allowed for an exceptional view, no matter the location of one’s seat. The white floor with bleach-white “crystal” rubble worked perfectly with the dark-hued “crystal” formation…which by the way had Coco’s iconic interlocking Cs symbol in the center!
